The International Wine Challenge Awards Dinner took place on 2nd September in the glamorous Grosvenor House in London. It took ages to honour all the retail finalists as well as the winners of wine-making trophies. But it was good fun to catch up with lots of friends and collegues from the trade, especially wine makers who had travelled far and wide for the event. I helped judge some of the wines earlier in the year, so this is a very nice reward for my few days of concentrated tasting.
