Really very good for this price - medium bodied with plenty of fruity berry aromas and flavour.
Ripe fruit aromas of mulberries and mocha. Satisfying full bodied red with lovely cherry jam flavours, some spice and a touch of leather. 14% with balanced and velvety tannins.
This Reserve uses fruit from a higher vineyard which has more intensity of everything: richer black fruit flavours, bright cherries and deep spice character. There are some vanilla and wood from the 12 months ageing, well balanced by the powerful fruit.
Actually smells of grapes and raisins with a spicy lift. Not bone dry and terrific with spicy food.
