A “Super Tuscan” from 100% Sangiovese grapes, grown in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. I love the aroma of red cherries and autumn leaves and the deep flavour, again of cherries with some brighter fruit flavours like red-currants. It is smooth and nicely mature. This is a fantastic vineyard site, which has just changed hands and I’m sure will be considered a real classic in a year or two. My advice is to buy now while it is still great value!
