Mestizaje Bodega Mustiguillo 2006

This is well on the way to becoming one of Spain’s top estates with Robert Parker points in the 90s. The winemaker believes that local grape variety, Bobal is one of the great grape varieties of Spain. This is a blend of 50% Bobal with the balance of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The results are a deep flavoured, full-bodied wine with spice and earthy tones complimented by ripe backberry and raspberry fruits. This gutsy red is wonderful with rich gamey casseroles.
