Callabriga, 2005

An immensely satisfying full flavoured red made in the region most famous for world class Port. The same grape varieties when made into a dry “light” wine have all the rich, ripe red and black berry flavours we love so much in Port, but tamed a little! There is spice and earthyness here too and very soft ripe smooth tannis. Excellent with barbeque steak and even quite strong smokey sauce.
