Le Moulin des Nonnes, Minervois Blanc 2005

I've been wanting to list a rich smooth Rhone-style white with dried fruit, citrus and spice flavours for a while. This ticks all those boxes - plus it's organic! 50% Rousanne, 40% Grenache Blanc and 10% Muscat petits grains grapes are vinified seperately, about 1/3 in French oak. It results in a full bodied but fresh white with dried apricot and dried apple flavours, a hint of grapefruit and honey aroma and a satisfying richness. Stunning with scallops or stir fried pork.
