Ch La Noe, Muscadet Sevre & Maine, Sur Lie 2005
Vielles Vignes
|
Yes, this is bone dry with a very fresh, seaside crispness. And yes, it is wonderful with seafood. But this has a richness from the sur lie way it is made, and again from the old vines which, at an average age of 60 years, give a reduced yield. All together much more character than you would expect from a Muscadet, which is how I like even my classic wines - with a surprising edge!
