Picpoul de Pinet Val Grieux 2006

Picpoul de Pinet is a typical southern French white grape. When it is well made like this one from Domaine Fourgeray de Beauclair, it is attractively dry with a little spicy ripness and a hint of grassy herbs. Lovely with any seafood, or as an aperitif, especially when well chilled.
