Roc Tinto, Crianza
D.O. Cataunya
|
Castillo Perelada is better known for Cava, but they are making a wider range of still wines too. This replaces the Tinto Perelada that was in my list for a couple of years. This has less wood and is a little fresher, but just as fruity and smooth. It has an aroma of ripe dark berries, and a hint of spice. The soft, smooth tannnins make it a lovely wine for drinking by itself as well as with a table full of tapas.
